ALIENATION

‘forgetting came
like a deluge,
and took away
the treasure of memories

marooned on a
deserted isle, I find
unfamiliar voices
surrounding me like
hillocks without passes’

isles between
the urge to escape and
the urgency to stay on

Snow-clad summits

Have departed from

My dreams

Graying has freed me

From the fear of fall,

But the fear of

Being alone,

Multiplying with

Each ascent,

Seems too difficult

To handle
